My Story
Designing silk scarves has given me more healing than I ever could have imagined. In a way, I believe it is a gift God gave me to share with others. I pray to continue to share these gifts for as long as I am able.
I struggle with a lifelong disorder called Severe Chronic Neutropenia. After an illness that hospitalized me and after many prayers, I found healing through designing and hand-dyeing silk. In 2015, I began painting silk to help make some money for my military family. Several years later, I received yet another medical diagnosis, a tremor disorder. It continues to cause different challenges, especially with small tasks. It restricts my ability to make straight lines in my designs, but I will not let tremors take away the joy of painting. Most days are good, but I praise God for His blessings and continue to embrace each challenge with grace and love even on the bad days. — Chrissy Kay

Sharing the Joy of Painting
I love teaching people how to water-marble on a silk scarf and create their art. I especially love when people tell me they can't do it, and I show them that they can. Seeing that kind of joy radiate from another is why Workshops are my favorite thing to do.
I love what I do. God has blessed me way more than I deserve, and I have so much joy in my heart that I can share my gifts.
